Halal Advocacy

Halal Advocacy is a growing movement in America. A Halal advocate is someone who sees Halal consumption as an integral part of their personal and family lives.  They believe Halal is for everyone: it is a sanctified part of the Islamic way of life. It requires the vigilant oversight by the learned and God-fearing and must not be compromised or tampered with through controversial and unconventional practices. To an advocate, the industry must achieve a universal Halal standard, while avoiding practices that jeopardize the physical health and spiritual well-being of the consumer.

The Halal advocate actively supports the need to establish a higher level of Halal integrity in America, and seeks to continually educate his or herself about its noble goals and prophetic means. The Halal advocate is active in the local and national grassroots movement towards a more healthy and pure way of life.

Changing Customer Attitudes on Halal Integrity

The goal of the Halal Advocates is to evolve beyond apathy and helplessness. In doing so, every Halal consumer becomes an advocate for Halal integrity and seeks to proactively help bring the standard of Halal higher in America.

The Halal consumer’s attitude is shaped by cumulative experience, as well as the solid insights gained by reliable information, which directs his or her future consumption. American Halal consumers are fundamentally changing their Halal shopping or dining behavior due to the efforts of various Halal activists and enthusiasts in North America who have begun the work of establishing Halal integrity by establishing a better standard of quality and service.
